The cable distribution box is a transfer station for transmitting electrical energy from the cable, and is used for outdoor connection, tapping, branching, reattaching or conversion of the cable line. It has the characteristics of simple, convenient, flexible, fully insulated, fully sealed structure, waterproof, corrosion-resistant, anti-pollution, maintenance-free, safe and reliable.

DFT6-40.5 series cable distribution box is a new type of power supply equipment designed by our factory to cooperate with 40.5kV power network cable system. It is widely used in cable nodes in 40.5kV system as the acceptance and distribution of electric energy. This series of cable distribution boxes has a unique structure and beautiful appearance, and is especially suitable for urban streets, residential quarters, high-rise buildings, airports, docks and other places with small construction area and relatively high environmental requirements.

1. Enclosure
   1. 1 The enclosure is made of 2mm stainless steel plate, which has good structural strength and corrosion resistance, and the protection level is not lower than IP54.
   2. 2 Dustproof, moisture-proof, flood-proof and corrosion-resistant, adapt to various harsh environments.
   3. 3 Fully enclosed, fully shielded, stainless steel enclosure and maintenance free
   4. 4 There is a cable access hole at the bottom of the cabinet, and it has measures to prevent small animals from climbing in.
   5. 4 The top of the box is arched and flows on both sides.
   6. 5 The cabinet structure adopts natural ventilation measures, and has measures or devices such as sun protection, rain protection, dust prevention, rust prevention and prevention of small animals.

2. Cabinet inside HXGT10-40.5 SF₆ ring main unit (C-GIS)
   1. 1 The ring main unit is composed of a switch room, a fuse room, an operating mechanism room and a cable room.
   2. 2 The switch room consists of various functional circuits (including load switches and grounding switches) sealed in a metal enclosure (made of 3mm stainless steel plates) and bus bars between the circuits. Each functional circuit includes a load switch and a grounding switch. The load switch consists of a vertically moving contact system and a fixed contact system at the lower end. When the switch is closed, the moving contact moves downward and the load switch is turned on. The grounding switch is composed of a moving contact knife and a fixed contact knife. After the spring is passed, the grounding switch is quickly turned on. An observation window is installed on the front side of the ring main unit, and the "open" and "close" positions of the grounding switch can be seen, and a pressure release device is arranged behind the ring main unit.
   3. 3 The load switch adopts a compressed air inner blow type structure, which has strong arc extinguishing ability and does not affect the insulation between phases and to earth. The moving and fixed contacts are all have arc contacts, which greatly improves the number of breaking times.
   4. 4 The fuse room and the load switch room constitute a transformer protection circuit, and the HV current limiting fuse is installed in the epoxy casting insulated cylinder. After the fuse is fused, the striker is ejected and the load switch is opened.
   5. 5 The operating mechanism room is located on the front side of the ring main unit. In each functional circuit, the load switch is equipped with a manual (or motor) energy storage spring operating mechanism, and the grounding switch is equipped with a human energy storage spring operating mechanism, and the panel is equipped with load switch closing operation hole and the manual opening and closing knob, the grounding switch opening and closing operation hole and switch status display card. The operations of load switch and grounding switch have interlocks to prevent misoperation.
