HXGT6 (XGN58)-12 SF6 Gas Filled Type RMU Switchgear

General of HXGT6 (XGN58)-12 SF6 Gas Filled Type RMU Switchgear:

The HXGT6-12 switchgear is the combined electrical equipment sealing all main circuits in a metal Enclosure and using SF6 gas as arc-extinguishing and insulating medium. It is suitable for RMU and double radiation power supply in 12kV mid-voltage power supply network. Meanwhile, it is also used in terminal power supply. Adopting RMU power supply, its reliability is improved greatly, so it is particularly used in mineral plants, residence areas, schools, parks and so on for power distribution and controlling. In addition, because of its convenient wiring connection and installation, small volume, it is used in a substation as high voltage primary equipment.

Service condition for HXGT6 (XGN58)-12 SF6 Gas Filled Type RMU Switchgear:

a. Ambient temperature: Max: +55℃, Min: -25℃;

b. Altitude above sea level no higher than 1000m;

c. Relative humidity (+25℃), daily average value is no more than 95% and monthly average value is no more than 90%;

d. No corrosive gas, dust, smoke, vapors and frog in ambient air；

e. No constant and strong vibration.

Operation notice for HXGT6 (XGN58)-12 SF6 Gas Filled Type RMU Switchgear:

HXGT6 can be put into operation after installation and commissioning. All-round inspection shall be done for the equipment before operation such as lubrication shall be put on the driving parts, nut and screw shall be tightened. Closing spring energy shall be released during the normal repair and maintenance.

Pure gas SF6 is likely to be no color, taste and poison. However, the density of such gas is higher too much than that of air, so it will gather and deposit at the lower place. When SF6 density is up to the certain volume, it will cause person choke. Therefore, when the staff enters the assembly field, particularly before he goes to underground chamber or cable groove on the lower ground, ventilation and inspection shall be done to ensure the certain oxygen density in air. Only more than 18% oxygen density is confirmed, he could start to work. From environmental protection and security point of view, SF6 density shall not exceed more than 1000ppm.

Switchgear is designed to ensure the correct interlocking of operation sequence for the different parts. However, it is essential for operator to follow the operation rules and technical document for the correct operation instead of casual or compulsory operation when the equipment refuses to work. Otherwise, the equipment could be damaged, even accident could occur.

The interlocking is provided in the switchgear, electrical and signal interlocking is dominated while the mechanical interlocking is auxiliary and compulsory locking, which meet the requirement of interlocking. But, it is also important for operator not to neglect the operation procedure.

The function of interlocking can be realized during the normal operation without additional operation step. If it is found that the operation is stopped, compulsory operation is not allowed to avoid the damage of equipment or accident.

• Before signing the contract, both buyer and seller shall confirm the technical parameter and technical plan；
• Within a month after signing the contract, manufacturer shall provide the drawings of foundation and secondary controlling principle for customer’s confirmation；
